Yeah, I remember the Ewoks cartoon. IIRC, the first season was actually enjoyable in a 'guilty pleasure' sort of way (right down to the theme song by Taj Mahal) and it had a certain charm to it. But the second season made the entirety of 'Droids' look flawless in comparison. Ughhhh.
