You might have to go in and speak to them in person - I know you have anxiety and it sucks, but if you're anything like me then the anticipation is probably worse than the actual thing. I mean, they will definitely give you some weird looks for knowing about cars and being girl, but that's what worked for me when I was working on an older car. One of the guys was interested in classics and we got talking, and they were all really helpful to me after that.
Like I passed some kind of test. They also charged me a lot less than other places, and they let me stay on the shop floor and in the break room while they were doing stuff on the car that I couldn't do myself.
