I remember some House fans getting rather mean about Robert Sean Leonard's aging. I always felt very defensive, like, hey, it even makes sense for his character to lose his boyish good looks. Wilson is a messed up guy and his life is a stressful mess. House was a hella unrealistic show, but at least most of its characters weren't Hollywood Beauties.

Huh, I was in House fandom from beginning to end and somehow avoided that.

Hell, I always thought Robert looked great...even at the end of the show. Sure he aged, but he did so gracefully by my standards.

I don't know. I'd put the original cast (ignoring the last season) as House, Wilson, Cuddy, Chase, Cameron, Foreman, Kutner, Thirteen, and Taub. I'd say 8/9 of those characters are above the fold of average attractiveness.

Chase, Cameron, and Thirteen are supermodel beautiful. I'd say Foreman is on a similar level but fan opinion varies on him (probably because there wasn't a bunch of fanservice devoted to him).

House, Wilson, and Cuddy are all extremely attractive but older. Kutner is cute. Taub is the only one who isn't very pretty and somehow gets the most game on the show.

I've never seen a single episode of House, but I did see Robert Sean Leonard in Pygmalion, after he'd finished his run on House. I mean, he was playing Henry Higgins, a condescending ass, but he looked good.
