Last thing I wrote: terrible Homestuck fanfiction.

Something I'd love to write if I had the time: An epic 600 page, carefully researched purple prosey SFF novel in a vaguely steampunk-y high fantasy setting vaguely inspired by ancient Mesopotamia. WITH GIANT ROBOTS.

I'm not very knowledgeable about ancient history (or history in general), but Mesopotamia has been a bit of a pet obsession of mine ever since I read The Epic of Gilgamesh as a teenager. It's a pity more fantasy novels don't use Near Eastern mythology as an influence. :(

God, I'd read that 600 page monster of awesome. Though I can't help picture it being some weird brain child of Rose and Dave with Roxy throwing ideas in and Dirk secretly adding stuff to it when everyone else is sleeping. Oh my god, now I want this. Fuck.

Oh goshdarnit, you're giving me ideas for more terrible fanfiction I could write. I already have so many WIPs! I don't need another one!
