I'm a blonde, upper middle-class, pretty, white girl living in America. I have won the genetic lottery.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-30 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
what does living in america have to do with genetics?

(Anonymous) 2015-06-30 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
DA, I would presume OP was more generalizing. It's not a genetic characteristic, but it is luck of the draw where you are born.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-30 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
america is why the white is winning instead of losing.

being the white girl in japan is not winning the lotto.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-30 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Did I miss the memo where blonde, white rich girls were immune to incurable disease? Not everything is about the privilege your status affords you, darling. But I'm sure a post like this earns you high marks in Social Justice 101.

"upper middle class" had me scratching my head too. what does that have to do with genetics?

maybe thats why "smart" wasn't included?

(Anonymous) 2015-06-30 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Not genetics, but she is that way because her parents are.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-30 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
that's nice but nothing to do with genetics like the OP was asking

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
She misfires about the things she feels she 'won' at and then gets piled on and insulted by a few anon who MUST be witty and bullyish no matter what. Wow.

OP, try not to feel bad. People are assholes.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-30 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
That's pretty funny consider that there's a strong likelihood the OP isn't actually all those things and was just trying to make a point about how social justice is full of cooties or whatever. I wouldn't be surprised if you made this comment purely to argue with yourself and earn high marks in Demonstrating My Superior Intellect on the Internet 101.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
What on earth are you basing your OP assumptions on? Stray pubes from an ass-pull?

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
It sounds a lot like the all too common sneering contempt toward that demographic. But I appreciate you taking the time to question my theory in such a thoughtful, perceptive fashion!

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, would you like some dip to go with all those chips on your shoulder?

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
What chip? I answered that question politely and cheerfully.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
No, you answered it with the same sneering contempt you attributed to AYRT. You just fancied it up a bit.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
Being polite isn't "fancying it up a bit", though? But okay.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
It is when said politeness is clearly just a mask for your dickery. Unless, you don't actually BELIEVE you were being kind, do you?

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 06:44 am (UTC)(link)
I never said I was being kind. Being polite is something different. Even if my civility were nothing but a mask, acting polite =/= acting like there is a chip on one's shoulder. It's kind of the opposite, actually. Now if you said I was being passive-aggressive then perhaps your argument might make more sense.

P.S. Now I'm being sarcastic. Which also isn't the same thing as having a chip on one's shoulder. :)

(Anonymous) 2015-06-30 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry, you only come in second. Blonde, upper-middle-class, handsome white guys living in America won.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
wouldn't it just be straight upper class though?
