I hate being watched while doing normal things (I don't mean someone glancing at me, or looking at me because we're talking, but just sitting there WATCHING like I'm onstage and they're the audience). It makes me uncomfortable. I don't care if it's because they think I'm cute doing whatever. I don't care if they think I might need help. I don't care if I "don't have to be embarrassed." I don't like it, and I hate it when I tell people to knock it off and they tell me why it's okay and keep doing it.

I hate it when someone asks for opinions, and people give their opinions, and some idiot comes in telling anyone with a negative opinion "there are more important things to worry about" or "it's not THE WORST THING EVER." Well, yeah, there are more important things, but we're giving our opinions on the thing someone asked for opinions on because they asked about it, not because we think it's the worst thing ever or the most important problem ever. Bonus annoying points if the person saying that stuff is the one who originally asked for opinions!

People who insist they KNOW someone's sexual orientation, and the reason they "know" isn't that the person told them or that they know the person is in a relationship with or slept with someone of the same or opposite sex. Stuff like "He wore a purple shirt, he's DEFINITELY gay!!! No question about it!" Extra obnoxious if they then start bullying the person to "admit it" or come out. Mind your own fucking business.

When people do the first thing to me, I stop everything and stare them in the eyes until they back off.

I hate it when people sneak up on me. Hate it hate it hate it. Let me see you coming. If you tap on my shoulder I am going to jump.

Yes yes yes. Especially when they're in a vehicle, or they come up behind the while I'm on the computer.

I sneak up on people, but I don't honestly do it on purpose. I'm usually about to grab their attention when they turn and they get a jolt.

I do giggle though. But it's not out meaness or anything.

Eh. Try not to take things like that so seriously. Cause, fot me anyway, I don't do this shit on purpose and it's usually when I get a big reaction of it that I giggle. Cause before that I'm not standing there thinking "good, i can sneak up on them" it's usually "where'd they go? i gotta question about this thing."

It really, really doesn't matter if it's on purpose or not. I don't want anyone doing it at all for any reason. I can't fucking stand it.

Well, I understand your reasoning for why you dislike it. But you need to realize that this will happen regardless and that, more times than not, it's not on purpose. Now, if someone DOES do it on purpose, then by all means, fucking lay into them. Cause that's a dick thing to do.

Anywho, were I to meet you in real life, it'd be something I'd work on not trying to do, but it's not a promise cause I'll sometimes get single minded about a purpose or question that I wanna ask you and I'll kind of march in your direction (this is turning into a more general you thing here) and I'll usually try to say "Hey, ____, what do you want me to do with this/that/etc/insert different question here?" but sometimes, my target for confirmation will turn before I get that chance and I startle them.

As long as I see you coming I really don't give a damn what you do. Do not sneak up on me, and do not tap my shoulder, and do not fucking give me this "it'll happen whether you like it or not" crap because it sounds like you're just looking for an excuse to not change your behavior out of courtesy for someone else. If you did this to me in person you would learn very fast not to sneak up on me, trust me on this.

It has nothing to do with behavior, dude. I feel for you, but now I honestly don't give a shit.

I used to have a coworker who would do this to me on purpose EVERY SINGLE CLOSING SHIFT we shared. She was my manager and had me vacuum the main entrance to the building, and she'd wait until I was halfway done to excuse herself out for a smoke break and purposefully scare me on my way out because I was busy with my task and the noise it made.

Complaining about representation when you're already VERY well represented.

Example: Zoe Saldana is CONSTANTLY paired with white men. So whenever people use the "representation" argument on why you shouldn't criticize, my eyes roll so hard they threaten to fly out of my skull.

I'm shy and I hate it when people insist that I join in on [insert activity here] after I've already politely declined. They mean well (probably) but honest, if I said I'd rather watch from the sidelines instead of playing beach volleyball, there is no need to spend the next ten minutes going, "Oh come on, it'll be fun!" (No, it won't, I don't like playing games.) or variations on that where you try to wear down my resistance.

I hate people who are too lazy to google something. Yes, tenth grade was a long time ago, and geometry was hard even then. But y'know, google will tell you how to math. Sometimes it will even provide you with a calculator where you can plug in the numbers and the answer will pop right up.

Ugh, this. I'm also sick of the people say, "but but how will people know what Google results are legit?" Use your common sense and figure it out, you moron. You'd still have to do this even if you were lazy and asked people for the answer, because how would you know which person was right?

I've had two people in two months who didn't bother to @#!&$ google something. Even after I tried to explain it they still didn't bother to look it up. As a result their customers lost out and it's possible their businesses lost money. It's ridiculous.

I also hate people who can't follow simple instructions.

1. Get a city business license. Call Jane Doe at xxx-xxxx for help with that. I can't approve your sign application until you do that.

2. Send us the permit fee of $65.

It's not rocket science. No amount of screaming over the phone or lying to your customer (who then calls me to find out what's going on) will make us skip those steps.

A variant of the first one: I've just begun practicing piano or singing vocalizes and someone plunks down on the living room sofa and wants "a concert." They mean well, but when I'm practicing I need to practice, not perform. Scales and etudes are boring to listen to. When I hit a passage that I have trouble with, I'll play the same three bars a dozen times until I get it, which I admit is also boring to listen to, but it's how I learn. Vocalises won't sound pretty at the upper and lower limits of my range. It's especially galling when the point of the exercise is taking the lid off the top: I don't need commentary on how "maybe I shouldn't try to sing that note."

I just want to tell them "Go away" but they're my parents...

Eh, I'll type "tumblr" into the address bar, usually because the address will finish, that whole auto-fill thing, but sometimes it doesn't catch and I end up having to click the top search result. I type the thing in and I also click the bookmark. It's either/or all the time.

People who Google simple URLs they use all the time instead of typing them.

You'd think this would just be people not familiar with computers, but I met someone in their late teens, who grew up with internet access, who Googled Facebook.com on their own laptop. On a slow connection.
