Honestly, I find that Dreamworks films are much more hit or miss in terms of quality. Sometimes you get Prince of Egypt or HTTYD. Sometimes you get Madagascar or Bee Movie. Personally, even if I'm not always the biggest fan of their movie, Pixar has a lot less bumpy record.

And, apparently Dreamwork going to focus more on younger kid demographic, which means more movies like Madagascar and Minions. : /

I agree that Dreamworks films are pretty hit and miss.

The thing is, despite the fact that I LOATHE some Dreamworks films, I also LOVE others.

Whereas with Pixar, at best I think they're decent (Finding Nemo). While the worst are truly awful (Cars).

Minions belongs to Illumination/Universal, not Dreamworks.
