IIRC, Pixar was a pioneer in the CGI film industry and as such they're always going to have an overwhelming amount of success and hype. They also have the $$$ and that undoubtedly also plays a role. Other studios tend to struggle very often and don't get the recognition for their films that they should get because Pixar and Disney stomp all over the competition with their long history.
