I agree that Pixar is overrated (they generally have solid storytelling but more then just Cars has fallen flat even in that area) but I would not agree that Dreamworks is better. Dreamworks has made some good films but they have made A LOT and I mean, A LOT of weak ones.

Dreamworks was a lot quicker to go for cash cow movies of little to no quality. Pixar is starting to go that way too (partially Disney's fault but the studio is just a mess in general now), but they did legitimately want to tell good stories for many years.
