Danny Elfman

As far as all-around talent goes. He was vocalist, guitarist, composer, lyricist, and, well fuck, played marimba and mandolin, too. (Later he became lead singer/composer/librettist in an incredibly popular film and that was well after he had to break up the band for hearing loss. Has won Emmy and other awards for his soundtracks.)

But on stage? At a show? He made us dance until we were coated in other people's sweat.
