Obviously I agree with Freddie Mercury. As far as the Rolling Stones, their primary contribution to rock and roll is that they're British, and the Beatles beat them to it.

(Later he became lead singer/composer/librettist in an incredibly popular film and that was well after he had to break up the band for hearing loss. Has won Emmy and other awards for his soundtracks.)

But on stage? At a show? He made us dance until we were coated in other people's sweat.
