Eh, I like anal irl and... it's not the big deal a lot of fic writers make it out to be. Some people are always going to be tight and sensitive (my bf needs foreverrrr to prep and you have to be soooo gentle) but for myself? Rub some lube on the dick and you're good to go. Excessive prep in fic comes off as trying too hard (WE MUST SCISSOR), imo. Just do whatever you think is hot.

And honestly, there's less poop than you think. I've had like one or two experiences ever where there was poop. the vast majority of the time there is none. Usually you don't store it in that part of your colon/rectum, it's higher up unless you're really right about to take a dump OR you have diarrhea or something, but you wouldn't be doing anal then, right? I do use condoms for anal play to reduce the ick factor, but it's... not like a frothy mass of santorum every time, guys.

You do want to wash first if you're going to rim, though... that's the one big thing.

tl;dr anal is not so different from fic. It's not a huge chore with hours of prep.
