"Poltergeist"! I didn't like it when the closet door wasn't shut at night. I also didn't like the face-ripping bathroom scene.
Also "Nightmare On Elm Street". Freddy Krueger shows up in dreams, making bedtime a bit scary. Had to pull blankets over my head. If they can't see me they can't get me. Don't ask, I was 10 at the time. Slightly immature, slightly afraid of the dark. Took me decades to begin watching horror films w/o problems! But I got over it and YOU CAN TOO! ;)
