I liked Ten Count but then it devolved into porn and for the first time I'm like "Nooo... no....."

On the other hand, Acid Town just takes forever for the characters to even TALK. I like me some character development but this snail pace is getting ridiculous aaaaaahhhhhh (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)

I still find it so strange that Takarai Rihito-sensei's work is getting so popular with Ten Count. I'm so used to his slice-of-life BL stuff going under the radar and of people not knowing who he is when I mention him that now him having this breakout title is taking me by surprise.

Woah, well that's news I didn't know.

I did read some of his previous manga (Hana somethingsomething, I have it bookmarked somewhere) and the prequel which I found heart-breaking. But yeah, for me it was the premise that attracted me to the story, before it devolved into full-blown porn. lol I was genuinely interested in knowing what traumatized the MC as a kid.

I *loved* the Hana Nomizo Shiru/Hana no Miyako de series. The BLCDs drove me to tears.

Yeah, I mean, I know Rihito is traditionally a boy's name, but 1) it could be a pen-name or 2) it could be a girl with a masculine name, but in the Free Talk section for Hana no Miyako de the seiyuus were talking, and then they asked what the author thought about the subject, in a 'what do you think, sensei?' and when I heard a guy's voice I was surprised as well

OH GOD I was the same with Ten Count. I was into it at first because it was actually taking the time to set up the characters and their relationship and shit. But then it literally started the porn in the worst and creepiest way ever and everything went downhill from there.

Like, it's not the worse yaoi I've ever read but it's up there with due to how suddenly it went to shit. :/

This, exactly! I usually wouldn't mind the porn but this one came out of nowhere and ended up making the whole plot go stagnant. I would have been okay if they would have worked on the MCs problems, then he discovers his reasons for his fear and THEN getting tons of UST. I think it has a lot of potential as a plot, but it got screwed over (hah) by the porn.
