Re: Do you ever enjoy ship wars?

(Anonymous) 2015-07-07 09:17 am (UTC)(link)
No
Sometimes they are inevitable see sawyer/kate vs jack/kate, stefan/elena vs damon/elena, chuck/blair vs dan/blair
But the ones between the fans of the canon ship and the fans of the unconventional couple that is not even a thing are nonsense e.g., harry/hermione vs hermione/ron or hermione/draco; merlin/arthur vs arthur guinevere; abrams verse kirk/spock vs spock/uhura. Wtf.
Few fandoms are blessed with a source material that doesn't have a triangle, watching fans ruin that with triangles and soap opera that are only in their imagination and not supported by the writers is nuts for me.

*to be fair, not including harry potter now because Rowling is an idiot who will shit on her own canon to still get attention see her 'I regret hermione/ron' after she had called hermione/harry fans delusional SMDH
*happy non shipper who doesn't give a damn either way dance*
