I love Dickens' stories, but hate his books. Jesus Christ man, just get to the point!

I find Dickens is great as a book to have on hand for months on end - like, you're never gonna want to read all of David Copperfield in a straight shot, but to have some Dickens to nibble away at over a long period of time is a great thing, sometimes.

And then you try that with "Bleak House" and you can't remember who the hell anyone is or why they're important again at any given moment.

Which, if you think about it, is actually kind of appropriate, given what Bleak House is actually about

Not really any less frustrating, though.
