...Just a heads up, there is more where that came from. (In the other games.)

Not the exact same creatures, but don't let your guard down, lmao.

That section of the game terrified me (not even just the first time...I've played it maybe four times, and every time I have to psych myself up for that part), but I think two was even worse in that regard.

Uncharted 2 was absolutely spectacular in every way though, so don't let that put you off!

Ntayrt: I was actually more OK with Uncharted 2 than the first one in regards to the creatures. Though the second ones were designed more scary looking and stronger, there were fewer of them than the first ones. It was so unexpected the first time and they just kept coming.

See, I think the setting in the first game is way creepier and obviously it was quite unexpected...so I do get where you're coming from. It was both surprising and there was SO much tension; it was an excellent bit of horror.

The creatures in 2 look more frightening, but what got to me was really just how strong they were. I had a stupidly difficult time killing them so even though objectively I feel like they weren't as scary, I freak out at the sight of them because I know what a pain in the ass they're going to be.

And frankly, I didn't expect them either. After Uncharted I should have, but I think I went, "lolnope, they'll do something else!" They did do something else...something else terrible.
