But it wasn't a conflict over a guy. It was the reporter saying something rude and getting an understandable reaction. It had nothing to do with Tony or with the reporter sleeping with Tony. Pepper's "trash" comment was about the reporter's personality, not about her sleeping with Tony.

I dislike fights between women that are about competition or fighting over men. But that wasn't what this was at all.

I meant that the initial comments (at Pepper) were around Tony, so he was being the launch point of it? I'm not explaining it very well lol.

She was inplying that Pepper was under Tony's thumb, I think, and not that taking care of the laundry is a bad job. Tbh I don't have a strong opinion on this. Need to rewatch this moment.

Yeah, you need to rewatch this scene. She was clearly commenting on Pepper's job in general, that it's nothing more than doing menial tasks that aren't as worth as much as being a reporter. Basically, she's being elitist and dissing anyone who works in a service-type job.
