Really petty, but whenever I post parodies/satire on LJ lately, no one responds. It gets annoying because I'm not sure if it's lack of quality or lack of interest, but I put a lot of work into it. It's not that LJ's quiet on my end, I have a pretty active friends' list.

LJ is but a shadow of its former self, I'm afraid. I've noticed a few people got tired of Facebook and came back, but I don't think it will be the same as it was in its heyday ever again.

If your list is active but no one's commenting then maybe you need new friends? It sucks, but sometimes you add someone and end up not having as much in common as you thought. (Or you just don't click for whatever reason.)

Of course, LJ isn't what it used to be but that doesn't sound like the issue.

AYRT - Definitely could be part of it, but I'm not sure how to find friends with more similar LJ interests.
