I really hate being a broke nerd. So many awesome things that I wish I could buy. Found the absolute perfect t-shirt and I can't buy it. It is so stupid and shallow that this bothers me. But I really want that shirt.

I'm really irritated with my job. I work Sun-Thurs. I should get Fri/Sat off. BUT, every Friday, my Thursday work spills over, and there's a deadline on Friday that means I have to get up earlier on Friday than any other day of the week to get it done.

I so fucking want to sleep in. I so NEED to sleep in.

Clip back the thing that the hummingbirds are eating so that the cats can't reach it. I do this every year for the red currant bush at my mom's place the first time one of our old cats managed to get a hummingbird, and it never happened again.

Paypal fucking sucks.

I closed my account a while ago cause I hated the robo call thing they were gonna try and enforce, until the shit hit the fan and they had to rescind that, but I wanted to open a new one. Cause I'm weak and wanted to buy a Whisp doll on eBay (Monster High SDCC exclusive).

Lo and behold, I can't link my card cause Paypal has some STUPID bullshit thing about not being able to unlink cards for security reasons.

So if I wanna have a chance AT ALL to get a Whisp doll, I'ma have to call my bank and get a new card.

People really need to stop saying they're in fandoms when they mean they casually like things. Fandom implies you have a vested interest. Everyone likes things. Fandm's what sets certain fans apart.

There are about four small dogs around my neighbourhood whose owners leave them out all the time. Recently they've basically started a pack, and they've been going after me and my dog when we're out on the lead for his daily walk. They've haven't gotten within biting range yet, they mostly just circle around us barking and snarling, and occasionally darting in like they're going to try something. It's driving me soft. Their owners just run up afterwards calling their names uselessly, telling me I should challenge them back to show them who's boss (which I have done, charged at them to clear a path home), stuff like that. They're useless. They're absolutely fucking useless.

I swear to god, if they don't get their dogs under control, the first dog that actually comes within biting range is getting clobbered wherever I can reach it. I am actually losing my patience. I don't necessarily want to call the authorities, I don't want anything to happen to the dogs, but would it kill their fucking owners just to keep them indoors? It's their fucking fault. I'm getting close to wanting to hit them if they come up to me one more time spouting useless excuses after their fucking dogs have mobbed me and mine all the fucking way home. I do not need to be threatened every time I go out the fucking door!

Really petty, but whenever I post parodies/satire on LJ lately, no one responds. It gets annoying because I'm not sure if it's lack of quality or lack of interest, but I put a lot of work into it. It's not that LJ's quiet on my end, I have a pretty active friends' list.

I am sick to fucking death of soybean oil being in everything. I can't have it, I have a medical intolerance (a medication interaction) to where I have to avoid soy unless it's a verifiable trace only. But every bakery uses soybean oil in their bread, cookies, cakes, and other desserts. Every. Single. One. I can't enjoy a bucket of cheap cookies from the grocery store with friends at parties, anymore, and it pisses me off.

sure, i can bake for myself and I do, often. But some days I'm just too exhausted after work to haul out the stuff and wait for a batch of muffins to bake, I want to just pop into the grocery store and get a treat I can share with my roommate. I can't and it suuuuuuucks.

I'm sick again, despite all the medication I take to prevent that. I'm lying in bed after a meal of applesauce and Gatorade, trying to think of fun things I can do that don't involve getting up. At least the hospital handled it quickly--they had me in, tested, and out within a few hours.

I called my nanna the other day because I got some bad news and I was upset. Sometimes she's a nice person who says nice things and I just needed to hear some.

Anyway. She yelled at me for almost an hour over how selfish I was and how being sick was my fault and how I should have moved to be closer to my family (even though they were the ones who moved away from me and I'm still in the same area) and then she tried to guilt me over the fact that she's going to die soon, and yes, she's old, but she's also pretty healthy.

Then she went on the say the reason that everyone in my family started being extra shitty is that I'm too stubborn to let any of them help me with anything.

Wait. What. What the fuck.
I don't call and ask for anything because I know I'm not going to get it. As evidenced by... all of the times.
Why you're actually noticing that I need help is because I've stopped helping all of you and you're having to do things for yourself or pay other people to do them for you.

Okay. I'm good. Needed to get that out there before my brain exploded.

My doctor just called two days ago and told me that they will no longer accept my Medicaid-related health insurance. They gave me the 3 that they will accept from now on but I'm not sure if I want to change again because the commute to my doctor is annoying and costly. BUT I don't know how many or little doctors will accept my insurance where I now live. :(

This week has been a clusterfuck. My apartment flooded with sewer water, my bf stopped answering my texts, I have a growing pile of health issues too. I just want to stay home and relax. Nope can't even do that without getting yelled at by someone.

I am getting tired of never having any money to spare because I have to save everything I can for my computer, which needs a major upgrade (and by major, I mean new CPU, new motherboard with it, more RAM, new graphics card). Add onto that fears that when I do go to the computer store that I won't have enough money for what I want done, and that changing my internet deal has landed me with a huge phonebill (I usually pay around $210 a month, this month it's $330), and I need new underwear and I would like more long leggings because winter is CHILLY...

I will be glad once the computer is done, even though I still worry about the cost. I can work through everything else once the computer is done.

When i get up in the morning, i need to pee just like you. Right fucking now. So when you turn on the shower, pop pimples, take sexy arm photos, and i knock on the door and say, "hey i gotta pee," i expect you respect that. it's not gonna take "2 seconds," it's gonna take 5+min. And by then, there will be a pond where our kitchen used to be. I will take 84 seconds. Hell, it takes longer for the water to heat up! You can fucking wait. <3
