Man of Steel. It was so dull it was dull. It was this generation's Star Trek: The Motion Picture

I don't mind "bad" movies, which are usually at least entertaining, but MoS was dull, dull, dull, and didn't even have the 70s mood piece vibe going for it. Plus it had Detective Ragemonkey in it, and the actor didn't even try to make it seem like a different character (which he *can* do, he was hilarious in Scrubs). If the actors are clearly phoning it in, then it is bad. Even the SFX didn't even look terribly convincing, for all the money they spent. I mean, dildo prison pods? Oh, please.

Yes. I don't even mind the ending of Man of Steel, but just everything about it was dull and wrong. The character was wrong (I'm not talking the killing at the end, I'm talking the whole movie). And also Jonathan Kent was wrong. Lois was okay but nothing amazing.

They totally fucked up with Pa Kent. That was a fucking write off that was, and we know that even if Pa Kent did want Clark to not save him, real Clark would still try. By the time we got to the infamous necksnapper scene (which seemed really poorly done, since it looked like the family could easily get out of the way with Clark just holding Zod's head still) I didn't really give a damn. I had no personal connection with any of those people. Hell, I felt more of a connection with the trawler captain. I want a spin off and a comic with him in it.

Screamers. Does anyone even remember this film IDEK. Armadillo tribbles on meth meet the plot of Aliens. Or smth. It was so bad it was almost so good, but it never reached that peak, unfortunately.
