Aaaahahahah I tried to watch that with the SO. We turned it off after half an hour.

I had the same problem with the director's "The Thin Red Line". It SOUNDED like it was a WWII movie. What it ACTUALLY was was nature shots, random philosophizing, actors you recognize randomly appearing for a scene or two then dying/disappearing, and very little continuity. And the damn movie's almost three hours long!
