No. I'm interested in media for the story and the personalities of the characters. Their gender or race is irrelevant to me as long as they're written well and I can understand their motivations.

then you should be angry that the only characters you're being allowed to view the world through are lacking in diversity and aren't exposing you to as many new experiences as possible
