Man, I'm glad I don't have a stick up my ass. It seems this causes you a lot of frustration. You guys are as bad as 'the book was better' elitist. You can't enjoy two things separately, you gotta get offended and angry that everything wasn't up your standards. Talk about first world problems.

Nimoy will always be my one and only Spock, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't think the new Star Trek movies were fun and entertaining.

I was not crazy about the 2nd movie (mainly because--are you kidding, they're alREADY cannibalizing the original movies? Also, I find BC's Khan boring as hell). But I LOVED the '09. Loved it, and I say this as a TOS fan. Funny, clever, quick, great idea to reinvigorate the franchise. And I sobbed during the opening sequence.
