that's kind of creepy. and by "kind of," I mean "EXTREMELY."

I'm sure you're already aware of this.

It is troubling that people think it WOULDN'T go on after RPing a graphic sex scene. What the hell else do people RP sex for?

why wouldn't they rp sex? so what if they don't run off and fap to it? it's just another scene. maybe they're bored, maybe they find the act beautiful and worth description, maybe they want to develop the relationship between characters more deeply, maybe they want to practice their prose. whatever the case, plenty of people are capable of writing or reading sex without knocking one off during or after.

It depends how you're doing the sex scene, IMHO. Sex scenes can involve character development and such, but most of the time? Come on - especially if you're doing a fairly explicit scene that doesn't beat around the bush with metaphors, there's going to be a certain amount of titillation involved.

Saying you RP sex without getting off is like saying you read hentai for the storyline. Maybe some people do it, but I'm highly disinclined to believe anyone who says they do.

I personally don't care what anyone else writes sex for, but I know for a fact that after years of writing out many scenes myself, I've never once had my hands anywhere near my pants. I can also vouch for a number of others I know who are way too open to lie about not doing it.

point is, there are people who don't stop and wonder if their rp partner is masturbating in the middle of a scene. if someone does do that, fine, whatever, that's their thing. but most people don't want to know about it. even as a fairly anything-goes person, I found it more awkward than flattering when I was told a golden nugget of tmi like in the secret, but whatever.
