(Anonymous) 2008-01-30 12:25 am (UTC)(link)And I was like, "Hey, that play ROCKED," and he was like, "They made it a musical, too; I can lend you the soundtrack if you want," and I was all "WELL LET'S TRY IT" and lo and behold I fell in love. After all the Tony awards.
That may not be the case for everyone, but yeah. Just saying generalization isn not cool, really. :/

And that kind of annoys me too. Jane Austen is so terribly overrated that it makes me sad. I remember being bored to death in my British Novel class with Pride & Prejudice but all the girls in my class practically WORSHIPPED it.
I got back at them when we did Brave New World and everyone was asking me stuff since I was the only one who really read it. xP
