Too Big (TOO BIG FOR BIG DOG, PERHAPS?)

Don't like PHOENIX WRIGHT?

What's the matter...

Too DEEP for you?

Re: Too Big (TOO BIG FOR BIG DOG, PERHAPS?)

WOW its really sad that you think Phoenix wright is Deep about anything, do you even know how a real court works ? even if it was a satire for 'real courts' it still wouldn't be entertaining.
Its a boring game that can be played in under three hours with no real thought behind anything, and the most entertaining thing is the weird looking people that show up from time to time.
And in a court of law none of that would ever happen, Phoenix would have been disbarred on his first day.

ohhh I love have you say that, even though its described in the games synopsis that its like a court game and there is no other way it can be a court game unless its based on an court.
Sorry for comparing a simulated court with a real court , oh what was I thinking comparing the courts in Phoenix to courts in real life its only set up the same way and tries to conduct it in the same way but fails, I guess because it fails at it you can't compare it to real life. Silly me.

Re: Too Big (TOO BIG FOR BIG DOG, PERHAPS?)

[identity profile] militarypenguin.livejournal.com 2008-01-30 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
It's based on the Japanese court system, if that's any consolation.

Re: Too Big (TOO BIG FOR BIG DOG, PERHAPS?)

(Anonymous) 2008-01-30 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
its similar to most courts. Most courts are set up that way, I just found the way the conducted the cases themselves to be lacking any real substance. Thus was boring for me.

Sounds like it's too DERP for you, too.

wow can't spell now and its in big letters don't we fell special. Just can't except that its a shallow game with a mediocre plot.

I didn't "fell" special, but I did "feel" a wee bit special, yes.

LOL you can't spell either XD

Wow, can't spell now and it's in big letters. Don't we feel special? Just can't accept that it's a shallow game with a mediocre plot.

Hi, just dropping by to let you know you look like a fucking idiot when you insult someone for spelling things wrong and then have a multitude of grammatical errors in your own post. Also, I congratulate you on being so oblivious that you took "derp" seriously; it takes real talent to do that, I'll have you know.

I don't mind you disagreeing with people about the game, because let's face it, not everyone is going to enjoy it. But I do mind that you look like a moron doing it.

Good day to you, sir.

Three hours? Are you sure you played the whole game?

He's confusing it with the Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law game.

Re: Too Big (TOO BIG FOR BIG DOG, PERHAPS?)

(Anonymous) 2008-01-30 03:44 am (UTC)(link)

And in a court of law none of that would ever happen, Phoenix would have been disbarred on his first day.

That's assuming he would have passed the bar at all. It's canon that he doesn't know what the hell he's doing. If he'd passed a bar, he'd have done plenty of reading and case studies enough to have a clue. But he doesn't even have that. He'd never be allowed to practice in the real world. Let's face it, Phoenix lacks 1337 lawyer skillz.

Re: Too Big (TOO BIG FOR BIG DOG, PERHAPS?)

[identity profile] dots.livejournal.com 2008-01-30 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
Phoenix Wright is based on the Japanese court system. Go read up on it, it's actually somewhat accurate to that system. Three-day trials, for one, and having to prove innocence instead of guilt, for another.

Re: Too Big (TOO BIG FOR BIG DOG, PERHAPS?)

[identity profile] omg-its-gackt.livejournal.com 2008-01-30 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
yea, but what's so deep about it?

what does everyone in the world have to priase that damn stupid ass game?

Re: Too Big (TOO BIG FOR BIG DOG, PERHAPS?)

It's sarcasm.
