It's not that it's about anthropomorphic critters, it's that I ship them. That I know I'd read fic for it, because the characters are so damn compelling.

I didn't have that reaction to the Disney movies I grew up loving. I know the difference.

Shipping them is still not the same as thinking you're one of them. -_-

If you haven't spent long nights away dreaming up and perfecting your fursona, or designing a fursuit, or getting an anthropomorphic skunk in a diaper tattooed on your forehead, or trawling Fur Affinity for hot cat thing on cat thing pr0ns, you're not furry on the inside.

Not to mention that technically, anthropomorphic characters are not furries. Furries are people who WISH they were anthropomorphic characters. Since Bugs and Lola Bunny don't see themselves as furries, why should shipping them make the shipper furry?

You are so right. People think that just because you ship a couple that is always has to do with sex, or having sex thinking of them, you can just ship them because they are good together.

I loved Robin Hood and the Lion King, but not really, no. I wouldn't say that I shipped those pairings. I don't recall shipping Lady & the Tramp, or the Rescuers, or any other anthropomorphic Disney characters. :P
