the reason I asked was because I always played it on a Mac never a PC , and was wondering which version it was because they put an extra thing on the game for the Macs.

PC. It was a good while ago (10 years, maybe?), when EVERYONE played MYST. You just did - it was some kind of unwritten law or something XD
