Good to see anyone who knows of Killer 7 at all. Secret I was gonna submit but accidentally deleted the photoshop file so fuck it: I'm excited as hell at all the attention No More Heroes is getting and that'll it get Suda more work in the gaming industry, but also cringe in fear that some of the new fans will track Suda's past games, find out about Killer 7, and only get into it for the gore or how cool Dan Smith's supposed to be without giving two shits about the surreal as fuck plot.

The fact that I've already seen someone slash together Con with Kevin (just because kevin is gay god why) before NMH is not helping allay my fears.

I must admit that I am not the most devout of fans to Killer 7, even if I DID find it very unique and definitely interesting. I have never read any of those texts about the game Suda wrote, only plot faqs and examinations on gamefaws that cleared some things up and made others even more confusing. So while the sotry is... still quite a mystery to me, I still enjoyed it. But while I admit to this, the thought of people buying the game only for the blood and the chance to slash dudes is... honestly, it sounds like something Suda himself would make into a bizarre and kooky yet cynical plot point of in one of his games. And when you behave like a character in a Suda-game, no matter how cool they are, you are, as the internets say, doing it wrong.

Also Kevin slash anyone is a badtouch of such large proportions. That man is CREEPY. And if that one document I read is correct, still pining for his dead love? urgh. At least NMH's plot will be more stupid fun than deep and bizarre. It will make it easier to bear when people write horribly OOC Travis Touchdown since I get the feeling the dude would write fanfics horribly OOC on purpose and post it to FF.net to piss people off... and that makes it easier to bear. Somehow. Travis the 4chan troll... why do I see this happening?

The gigantic 300k+ plot analysis on gamefaqs + the translation of Hand In Killer 7 are the best guides of making sense of what's what in Killer 7, particularly the references to history between American-Japanese relations.

Yup, Kevin's probably still wanting for that unnamed dead man. And I can't imagine Con with anyone as he's 1. Way too young and 2. His love for Sentai is absolutely endearing and adorable, despite all the murderin'.

My strategy is to beat the fandom to it and try to put good NMH and K7 stuff out into the public before the internet decides to expose me to some cocked up attempt to connect Travis the first kill to Travis Touchdown.

... Dammit, now I feel like tackling that huge document again. Can you find a translation of Hand in Kiler 7 online anywhere? And so very much agreed with the Con-point: to find a kid who waste Killer Smiles by the dozen but who STILL loves his crazy justice fighters in brightcolored spandex is indeed adorable. And wasn't Travis the first kill, like... really old? Wasn't he the first dude Harman ever killed? And wasn't Harman really old? Or the really valid question, will any of these points matter to annoying people in theory-making moods?

He was the first kill, yeah, but it was the first kill of the second smith syndicate, according to Hand In Killer 7, not the one that was around before Emir shot up the Union Hotel.

And yes, it probably will. Though Suda himself makes plenty of references to K7 in NMH, with different powerups named after the 7 persona, as well as a special guest appearance of someone undoubtedly intentionally made to look similar - but not exactly like - our man Garcian.
