I have personally seen many people come to the Catfights to defend themselves and end up staying around. Not everyone is scared to speak their minds. Not everyone feels the need to whine on LJ. Quite a few people who were scared of Catfights, because of people like you, are not quite fond of it now.

Not all the people there are big mean bullies. And not everyone there spends all day talking down to people. There's lots of topics there that don't ever even mention a single thing pony related.

You're so totally focused on the gossip.

Do you know that when Catfights started it was specifically made so that when two people had an issue to duke out, they were instructed to take it there. This kept that kind of thing off the nicey-nice boards. And the very same people running those nicey-nice boards, have all hosted the Catfights. It's as old as this community.
