14. Going the other way here and sort-of agreeing. I love anime-styled art. I'm not big on any Western or European paintings. I don't like Picasso or Dali or any "big artists" outside of Monet and Van Gogh. I've been asked to be tutored in art, and I'm always, always told to never draw anime art because it warps your style, and you can never get out of it.

Which is basically why I've never taken an art class - they basically forbid anything anime-influenced. But in the eyes of the art world, this apparently makes me a terrible, terrible person. 8(

So tl;dr - I basically agree.
