14. NEWSFLASH!! REAL LIFE PEOPLE DO NOT LOOK LIKE ANIME CHARACTERS. Do you think the people you see in real life (or IRL, to make it easier for you to understand) are all OLD and FAT because they do not have anatomically-impossible figures and HUGE FUCKING ALIEN EYES? Your teachers make you study Western art because THAT IS, UM, PART OF YOUR CULTURE. Guess what, if you study art in ~Japan~, you are not going to study anime either.

As for why they look 'fat,' the ideal feminine form was quite different in the Renaissance, and during Impressionism, etc -- in fact, it was quite different up until like the 1970s or so, when fashion models like Twiggy, et al became what ladies aspire to be. Maybe if you actually paid attention in class instead of being ENRAGED that you aren't studying *~SUPER KAWAII ANIME DESU~* then you would know this!
