If you rolled up Mai and played her convincingly, I'd have to find a way to kill people in my own faction because I can't STAND her! Not becuase she's the canon argument against Zukaang (I actually thought herXZuko was kinda cute) but just becuase she's got about as much personality as a 2"x4". Plz to be having some emotions, k?

(To be honest though, if you gave her a bit more personality, I'd friend you in a heartbeat. She's make a killer rogue. :D)

Well, I didn't like her until The Beach episode, where she showed she DOES have a personality and she sort of stomps it down for some reason. I HATED Zuko/Mai until they had that fight, let me tell you. HATED it.

I think it'd be fun to explore why she is the way she is, don't you? But we're probably on different servers and I tend to play alliance. XD

I would like to know why she is the way she is, but the series just leaves too much in the dark about her. :|

Funny enough, I was indifferent to Mai until I got to the Beach episode, after which my primary emotion was eye-rollingness (is that an emotion?) I mean, come on, that's your tragic angst story? Your parents occasionally disciplined you? Give me a break.
