Not a style, but there's something about Bono's voice that has always pissed me off. It doesn't help that he's apparently a pretentious git.

The SO hates singers that have "sleaze voice". Apparently the singer of The Counting Crows and The Barenaked Ladies both have this voice.

I'm also not a huge fan of when singers get so obese that it starts impacting their vocal chords and they get fatvoice.

For lack of a better descriptor, when someone's voice gets husky and strained because they're fat.

Bono's singing style is way too yowly. I don't like Chrissie Hynde either for that reason.
