Re: Hurt/comfort: Can one exist without the other?

I don't think they should, but sometimes it would be nice aka the iron man identity theft fanfic I read last night and was not expecting the sad. I'd like comfort fix after that but also I like it as a punch in the face standalone.

Then there are other fanfics where Im only there for the hurt and the comfort takes away from it.
