I finally got some friends to read Animorphs after having literally no one to talk to about these books since I was a kid. So I reread the series. Twice. Once each when each of these two friends started reading (I started off just going along with them so I would know what they had gotten to and then I just kept going without planning to).

Anyway, I'm loving Tobias and his books more than I did when I was a kid. I'm expecting one of my friends to love him too because she loves woobies.

I replied to a lot of her Animorphs comments but that was still about 8 years after I started reading the books and never really led to any indepth discussions. I was still pathetically excited every time she mentioned the books though.

But I guess for the sake of accuracy I should correct that to "literally no one but fingals" and then it's true.

Tobias was one of my faves as a kid. I felt so bad he was trapped in a hawk body. :(

My best friend just finished the first book last night. I had told her to let me know when she got to the big thing I was waiting for her to get to, so when I was trying to get to sleep I got a text about how sad that was.

My favorite was and still is Rachel. I loved her and Tobias together, but her character was always heading down a bad path.

Also, you've reread all the books? I need to finish about 10 more but I was waiting for my friend to catch up as she's still about five books behind me.
