I understand how you can feel that way but, if you ever have a dear friend or family member who is accused of such a crime, you'll have a hard time not defending them. I 100% believe Bill Cosby is guilty and my heart has been breaking for months over this. He was my hero as a child because he let me see a family on TV that looked and felt like mine. When the accusations first started, I really believed they were lies. Then they kept coming and I couldn't do anything but believe and mourn. I don't know how I would feel if someone I cared about was revealed to be a monster, but I know I'd defend them from the accusations... at first.

And, yeah, I have a lot of sympathy for Whoopi. I don't even want to imagine how Raven Symone feels. There's a lot of pain and heartbreak for them with this.

This is true. It sucks when someone you trusted, and thought was your friend, ends up being such a scummy piece of shit that you can't believe you missed all the signs that pointed to them having an awful double life.
