This. I mean, people may try their hardest to search for reasons why a secret might be controversial but that's because... most secrets are really mild and boring. Like, they aren't actually secrets, and in that sense, there's not much fun in commenting. It's more fun to read into things and make a bigger issue out of whatever that person is posting. It's theatrical, taking everything to the max, but that's kind of the game we play here.

And for the record, I don't think people here are generally mean or nasty. Maybe a bit dramatic, at worst. But OP's secret definitely relates to being "a bit dramatic" ;)
