Tbh I don't think he had any intention of bringing Clarice into the show anyway.. he's so caught up in his personal hannigram fanfiction everything he and DLC say about Starling is desperation at best

Yeah, this secret makes no sense at all. Hannibal, the TV show doesn't have rights to the Clarice Starling character.

If they couldn't get the rights to Starling, Fuller was thinking of making a similar character. (I heard that Lifetime currently owns her and they were thinking of doing their own Silence of the Lambs series)
