Yeah jesus, Felicia Day is popular among geeks of all genders and ages. I'm a massive fangirl and I'm a twenty-something woman. It's not like Felicia Day is even the stereotype of "look at my boobs follow me give me attention", she's literally just a nice person who is comically awkward and is a geek, and happens to be a fairly attractive thirty-something woman.

Wow, that's a little defensive. It also neatly ignores the fact that actors who are middle aged aren't exactly representative of the general population.

Why would it matter if middle aged actors are representative of the population or not? Ayrt is talking about the actors people in this comm are usually attracted to, not all actors.

It matters because the anon was trying to imply that being attracted to actors, i.e. a group of people who are generally more conventionally good looking than the general population makes you a hypocrite if you don't think the adulation of the general population of middle aged men is an enviable thing. They're two very different groups, so liking one does not mean you'd automatically like the other.

Depends on the guys. If they're good looking and/or have lots of money and(no ifs or buts) behave themselves then GODSPEED. Same goes for middle aged women. Age ain't nothin' but a number.
