I stopped following one person because they were SO INSISTENT that Sterek was going to become canon. Nothing would make them waver. They kept claiming that Sterek was definitely endgame and that even if the two of them had girlfriends at the time it was only because they needed to emotionally grow to the point where they could reasonably get together, and that this was the show runner's plan the entire time, guys, trust me, it's going to happen!!! I'm not discouraged at all, and I'll tell you why! Etc etc etc. Eventually I couldn't take the constant cheerful obliviousness and just bailed.

I think they're in Kingsman fandom now, which might actually be a better fit for that sort of denial (considering how pretty much the entire fandom has decided to ignore at least one part of the movie).
