lol this shit again, I love how this keeps popping up.

Basically an anon accused me of driving a friend of theirs to attempt suicide but refused to provide evidence when asked and asked Case to delete the thread. So, no, without evidence what am I supposed to apologize for?

I'm waiting for someone to accuse me of raping and murdering a girl in 1990.

(ps "not actually trolling" is usually a dead giveaway that you're trolling, I suggest you not use that phrase next time)

I honestly wouldn't be surprised that the above anon was the same person that started that thread, and then keeps trying to bring it up again in an attempt to get attention.

Sometimes I wonder if it's multiple people who keep bringing it up. It seems to have become a bit of a meme, like the fedora shit or hi dethtoll.

Look, there are two possibilities

1. You hurt someone badly enough that they tried to take their life. You may not feel you owe them anything, but an apology would have been the human thing to do.

2 You upset someone badly that they lied about trying to take their life. Maybe an apology could mend some fences there? but even if you don't care about that, what would you have actually lost? Other than if as previously mentioned apologies are about status to you and not about mending hurt, and you're just unwilling to give ground on it.

I mean, jesus, wouldn't most people hedge their bets and consider the potential feelings of the person in scenario 1 over whatever the game plan of the person in scenario 2 was? I mean, is the possibility that you might not have driven a person to suicide all you need to not care about the possibility that you might have done?

Also, Just out of sheer morbid curiosity, what would satisfy you that you had upset someone this badly? Giving their name and address? Photos of the scars? If they used pills are they just shit out of luck? How would someone prove this? Or is that the point "They can't prove it so Lalala I'm awesome Lalala and I never need to take accountability!"

Man I have to say you are being wildly unreasonable here given the context. I mean, this isn't even someone saying that they did this, this is someone (allegedly) (anonymously) saying that someone that they know did this, on the Internet.

I am pretty confident that, if this did actually happen, dethtoll would be sorry about it. Given the context of the Internet as a whole it's reasonable to have doubts. I don't think it's helpful to anyone to try to emotionally blackmail someone over some shit like this. You're a bad fucking person.

I know I should just disengage, but this is serious enough that I'm going to tell you what I told the original accuser: I don't want to be responsible for someone hurting themselves, I would feel pretty shitty if that were true, but this is such a major accusation I need evidence. Even just a link to the supposed thread where I was supposedly so horrible to someone would suffice, because then I'd have some idea what the fuck I was apologizing for. I'm not going to apologize sight unseen, especially when the accusation came at the tail end of a long thread where the anon basically said I was an evil person who doesn't care about anyone and never apologize for my behavior (despite me doing just that elsewhere in that very thread.)

Did I ever get that link? Nooooooo. Anon said she had no proof of anything beyond the original confrontation, which she refused to link to. She just said "someone on Fandom Secrets tried to kill themselves because of you" and thought that would be evidence enough.

I'll freely admit to, and apologize for, the occasional lapse in judgment (read: sometimes I'm a dick!) but allegedly bullying someone into suicide? I need to see what I said that was so terrible, because that takes some pretty vile, focused behavior and that's just not something I do. Not even with Herpy.
