ITA. I forced myself to finish through the last season and then gave it the old Fuck This Shit. Not even shirtless Sasha Roiz can save that soap opera eyeroller.

I noped out after the last midseason finale. Most of it was disinterest at that point, but what I heard about the second half of the season convinced me never to attempt catching up. Juliette might not be the best written character in the world (mainly because the writer's don't seem to care much) but I've always loathed how the show and the fandom (mainly the Nick/Monroe side of fandom) treated her.

And then all this garbage happened. The entire amnesia plot was already horrendous. Leave Juliette the fuck alone.

We already had a magical Adalind baby plot, and the actress ending up preggo For Real shouldn't immediately mean to make the character pregnant. That's just lazy lazy lazy. Ironically, OUaT has pulled the same exact shit this season. Villain pretended to be a hero's wife (who she'd murdered), raped him, and ended up pregnant with his baby for supreme soap opera love triangle drama.

I refuse to watch both of these shows anymore.

I was gonna say-- I don't watch Grimm, and I haven't watched any of OUAT season 4, but apparently it's impossible to have a fairy-tale show without rape-by-deception or something. WTF, guys, "darker and edgier" was a trope that should've stayed dead.

The thing to note here is that neither show acknowledges that it's rape. It's completely glossed over or straight up denied, as is the case with the writers from OUaT.
