Re: Asexuality
(Anonymous) 2015-07-25 12:06 am (UTC)(link)I've never been in a relationship, because I've never been romantically attracted to anyone either, but maybe they mean something similar? They get the physical desire now and then and, since they are in a relationship with someone, they enjoy having that someone share it with them. There's no physical attraction to the person themselves, they just ... happen to be there? I don't know. Like I said, the relationship part isn't one I have experience of. But if you felt like enjoying the sensations, and you had someone you loved and trusted with you, you might want to share it with them even if the sensations themselves aren't really inspired by/connected with them at all.
I don't know if that made sense.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-25 12:11 am (UTC)(link)That actually makes A LOT of sense! So, like, maybe they get that feeling of "pressure" very often, which translates to "high sex drive."
Thank you anon, this is really helpful!

(Anonymous) 2015-07-25 09:03 am (UTC)(link)Re: Asexuality
(Anonymous) 2015-07-25 12:21 pm (UTC)(link)So I'd say the same is true for asexuals. Having all the sex in the world doesn't change the fact that there's no physical attraction involved in it. If the lust you feel isn't particularly attached to anyone, or the idea of anyone, if it's just a purely physical urge that sometimes you might enjoy sharing, then I'd say you could well be asexual.
