I really liked Juliette, but even if I hadn't, what they did to her character has been unconscionable and frustrating starting from the amnesia. Heck, starting from when Nick refused to tell her the truth for so long.

But Adelind raping Nick was beyond the pale. Why is it writers just lose their freaking minds whenever an actor gets pregnant and start to write horrible shit like this?

Actually, I know they answer: they're punishing the actor for "causing problems."

The show and the fandom have been pretty terrible to Juliette the entire series. I mean, heck, I think Nick has also been a terrible SO the entire series, too. Most of the amnesia plot could have been resolved or avoided all together if Nick stopped acting like a suspicious, lying asshole and just told her the truth.

I'm also tired of real life writes the plot, too. But writers who pull this shit never actually think about the implications. The writers for OUaT have done the same thing repeatedly.

I don't get why more writers can't write around the pregnancy. FFS look at Scandal. I had no idea Kerry Washington was pregnant, because they were mf-ing clever with costuming and staging.

Shows need to take note.

Also: why did Nick and Juliette never get married? Literally, the pilot had him buying her ring, but they never got engaged? Even AFTER she learned the truth and how to live the life with him? Writers, I am disappoint.

I'm noping out too. (sorry, just wanted to rant)

From my understanding (I haven't watch the show since the last episodes of 2014) Juliette and Nick are still unsure about their relationship and where they want to go. The entire wedding with Monroe and Rosalee seemed like a pretty awkward experience for them, and Juliette has been understandably upset for a while and uncertain if she's willing to deal with all the bullshit. Nick put her through a lot of shit by refusing to be honest the first two seasons.

I'm not surprised Juliette is on the fence, tbh. But apparently she's dead now, so.

Putting the character in a canon ship with the MC seems like a poor plan for punishment.

I don't think they're punishing Claire. They've written not one but two of her pregnancies into the show now and they keep inventing storylines for her character to keep her on the show. And now they seem to be setting things up for Nick and Adalind to bond over their child.

Besides, the rape happened in last season's finale. I don't think Claire was pregnant then. But when she did get pregnant again, they used it as a way to explain Adalind's second pregnancy on the show.

If anyone's being punished, it's Bitsie. They didn't just kill her character off, they literally turned her into a wicked witch and then killed her off. I just don't know why though, unless it's because she and David are together.
