Yeah, but there are quite a few male celebrities who have their botched plastic surgery sneered and talked about as well - without any trans rumours.

(Not that I doubt that the looks of female celebrities are under much closer scrutiny than those of male celebrities. But in terms of botched plastic surgery, both sides get equal comments.)

Kim Kardashian was mildly famous for that and later made a sex-tape that brought her further into the public eye and got her family a reality show. Her parents had divorced by then and her mother remarried to Bruce Jenner who had now transitioned into a woman taking the name Caitlin Jenner.

This is true of the SJWs, too. I've probably seen the same tumblr posts OP has seen raving about what a hottie she is, etc. etc. and thought... eh. I'm happy for her that she's happy and I understand why people are remarking on her appearance (especially since hello, she's on the cover of Vanity Fair, let's not pretend appearance is an unnatural thing to discuss in this context) but I don't think she's gorgeous and you know what? THAT'S FINE.
