Lawrence of Arabia

I made 4 Lawrence secrets this week so apologies to those who are sick of them.

I did just find this gem:

http://telawrencemanga.tumblr.com/

A freaking MANGA about TE Lawrence. It's a little hard to follow although having read a TE Lawrence biography will help. They get some stuff plainly wrong, though.

Anyway, does anyone have a favorite TE biography?

And is there a best cut of the 1962 movie?

Oh and has anyone gotten a copy of Seven Pillars of Wisdom from castlehillpress?? Supposedly it's the longer 1922 version (compared to the shortened 1935 version on Amazon) but I was wondering if someone had it and was willing to share their impression before I shelled out for the shipping (since it has to come from the UK)?

Are you reading it right-to-left and recognizing that, on Tumblr, "page 1" is the most recent posted?

I read three pages, and realised I was very much in the middle.

I'm sure I started at the beginning. It said Chapter 1 page 1.

I read it right to left too.

But it just seems to jump all over.
