Okay, but white celebrities also tend to fit many of the physical characteristics you describe: thin/fit, youthful, good make up, more up to date fashions, etc. This is the look that media favors, period. But nobody looks at Lucy Lawless and says, "Wow, you look amazing, but then of course you're white." Because that would probably sound ridiculous to most people, right? But somehow it's just common knowledge if you substitute "Asian" for "white" and... I hope you can see the problems inherent in that.

I know that? I'm just trying to explain why I think there's a stereotype. Obviously lots of white people look young, and lots of Asians look old.
