People getting so attached to their headcanon that they won't even call it a headcanon, and then they get mad later when canon goes against it. Especially when they get mad because canon is perpetuating harmful beliefs about whatever you've headcanoned a character as. If a character who's a lesbian in your headcanon falls in love with a man, no, you don't get to be mad at the writers for "enforcing the idea that lesbians really just need to find the right man," because she was never canonically a lesbian and you need to accept that.

There's a person in my fandom who headcanons the female lead as asexual. In canon she doesn't wind up with anyone, but she's shown being attracted to men. But whatever, if you want her to be asexual when you think about her or write her, then that's cool. But this girl is starting to get pissed whenever anyone else in fandom puts the character in a sexual relationship, being all "erasure" and "she wouldn't do any of that! She isn't interested in sex!" It's really, really annoying.
